About Me
Owner, & Natural Health Geek
I’ve always been fascinated with all-natural healing remedies. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for discovering and developing apothecary-related concoctions and natural health solutions. In my heart, I believe in the healing power of botanicals—and I’ve seen it in practice, too. While I have tremendous respect for modern medicine, I’ve seen far too many instances where friends, colleagues, and loved ones are treated with pharmaceutical medicines that end up causing a host of side-effect-related health problems. In many cases, minor ailments can be safely and effectively addressed with botanical-based medicine (or, ideally, prevented altogether).

Your Source
for Natural Health Solutions
For thousands of years, people worldwide sought wellness solutions from their local apothecary—a person or place that dispenses natural remedies and healthcare advice. From Shakespeare’s England to Renaissance Italy, shelves of ancient apothecary shops were stocked with formulas crafted from herbs, minerals, and botanicals. Today, modern medicine offers quick, effective solutions for various ailments, though they often come with side effects. For this reason, many people still rely upon traditional herbals as a complementary, preventive way to bolster their immunity, digestion, and overall wellness. At Apothecary Geek, we’re deeply steeped in herbal healing. We’re committed to providing time-tested botanical tonics, recipes, and inspiring educational information to help you stay well—naturally. And we’re determined to make it fun!
Cider Tonics—A Tradition
of Wellness
Our pride and joy at Apothecary Geek is our Fire Tonic, a spicy apple cider tonic that packs a potent flavor punch and fires up your digestion. Each batch is handcrafted at our headquarters in Iowa and filled with immunity-boosting botanicals like horseradish, ginger, turmeric, onions, and garlic. Take a shot daily to curl your toes and awaken your senses.
Apple cider vinegar has long been used as a natural health elixir. Japanese samurais were said to have quaffed it for strength, and American soldiers used it as an antiseptic in the Civil War. In the early 1980s, American herbalist Rosemary Gladstar (“the godmother of American herbalism”) created a spicy, hot, deliciously sweet apple cider vinegar tonic, and its popularity spread like wildfire. Our Fire Tonic is an homage to Gladstar, with our own distinctive, honey-free flavor.
