The Best Health Benefits Raw Apple Cider

We’ve always used raw/unpasteurized vinegar in our AG Tonics. We have found vinegar to be a fantastic extractor for herbs and spices and a great substitute for alcholoic tonics and tinctures.

So why raw vinegar vs regular vinegar?

Short answer: because raw unpasteurized vinegar carries so many more helpful heathful benefits; for the digestion, the skin, and other ailments.

What makes a vinegar raw?

A raw vinegar is unpasteurized meaning it hasn’t been heated. When a vinegar is heated above the living organisms, including what’s known as the mother is killed off. This heating process does create a sterile vinegar where nothing will grow but it also kills off any healthful bacteria that is what makes a raw unpasterized vinegar so useful.

So why use raw vinegar?

We have found the benefits of using raw unpasteurized vinegar is far better for what we are making. People have been using vinegar as an extractor for years.

Our AG vinegar tonics use organic herbs for for extraction processes. We extract the herbs in the raw apple cider vinegar for a minumum of 3 months before making our tonics.

The more detailed answer:

Raw ACV is made from fermented apples, which contain beneficial compounds such as acetic acid, enzymes, and probiotics. These compounds are thought to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which may help support overall health.

2. Helps control blood sugar:

Some studies have suggested that consuming ACV before a meal can help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance. This may be due to the acetic acid in ACV, which may help slow the absorption of carbohydrates and improve insulin sensitivity.
